The holy shrine of Al-Abbas (AS) has announced the program for the second International Imamate Week, scheduled from June 27, 2024, to July 4, 2024.
The opening ceremony will commence at the Al-Abbas (AS) holy shrine on Thursday, 20 Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, corresponding to June 27, 2024, at four o’clock in the afternoon. The ceremony will feature a speech by Senior Official Ahmad al-Safi, a documentary film screening, a poem recitation, and the opening research on the conference theme, “The Prophet and the Imamate: Inseparable Titles.” It will also include honoring dignitaries who have made significant contributions to recording the heritage of the Imams (AS).
Throughout the week, a series of international conferences will take place, starting with the conference on Imam Ali (AS) at Al-Kafeel University on Friday, 21 Dhu al-Hijjah. The week will conclude on Thursday, 27 Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH (July 4, 2024) with the conference on Imam al-Hujjah (AJ). This final event will feature speeches from the preparatory committee and participating delegations, visits to the projects of the Al-Abbas (AS) holy shrine, as well as various workshops, seminars, and other activities.
