Shafaqna Sports: The Danish Football Federation said in a social media post that Danish soccer player Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch during a match against Ukraine on Sunday(7 Jun 2026) but was conscious.
“Christian Eriksen is conscious and is doing well under the circumstances,” the federation said in a statement on X, adding that the friendly match had been canceled.
This was the second time the 34-year-old midfielder had passed out on the pitch while playing for his national team. Previously, in 2021, he had suffered a similar incident during his side’s first Euro group match against Finland in Copenhagen.
