Election Commission to take action against Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal

by Abbas Adil

The row over anti-national slogans in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University fails to die down.

In a major development, BJP’s Member of Parliament from North-East Delhi constituency has written to President Pranab Mukherjee, Chief Election Commissioner Dr Nasim Ahmad Zaidi, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh over anti-national slogans that were raised in JNU.

Also, the BJP MP has slammed Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury and D Raja for ‘supporting’ such anti-national activities.

“This act by Rahul Gandhi has sent a very wrong message to people of India and jawans of our country; I am shocked,” BJP MP Manor Tiwari alleged.

“Rahul Gandhi’s membership in Parliament should be cancelled and appropriate action must be initiated against him,” the BJP MP demanded.

“Nation is supreme and above everything,” the BJP MP added.
