Jammu: At least 18 persons were injured in a grenade blast that occurred at a bus stand in Jammu on Thursday.
According to Jammu IGP Mk Sinha, it was a grenade explosion in which approximately 18 people have received injuries. All the injured have been shifted to the Government Medical College for treatment.
Jammu IGP MK Sinha said that the grenade explosion took place under the bus. He added that it (grenade) was brought from outside and put under the bus.
Meanwhile, the incident site has been entirely cordoned off and state police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have also been deployed at the explosion site.
The scene of the blast along the BC Road was sealed off by police and a massive hunt has been launched to nab the grenade thrower, IGP, Jammu, MK Sinha said.
