Hyderabad: A resident of Hyderabad is running an online boutique for the past more than a year. She has looted approximately 6 lacs from many people. She runs her business through an Instagram account by name “ombre couture”.
She offers heavy dresses at cheap prices of Rs. 1000-5000. In a world where just stitching costs thousands of rupees, people get into the trap because of cheap prices and pay in thousands.
Modus operandi
She promises to deliver dresses in a month. Later, she makes excuses.
It may be mentioned that she had copied pictures of many dresses from another authentic boutique.
Many persons have become the victim of the fraud whose mastermind is a 23-year-old-girl. No official action has been taken against her so far.
