Imam Ali (AS) Shrine Implements Special Plan to Serve Arbaeen Pilgrims

Shafaqna India: On Friday, the Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) announced the implementation of a comprehensive plan, in collaboration with government departments, to provide services to pilgrims during the Arbaeen ceremony. To ensure the best possible service, two thousand volunteers have been recruited.

According to the Iraqi News Agency, Osama al-Baghdadi, head of the operation chamber of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (AS), commended the cooperation and proactive measures taken by the trusteeship of the shrine. He stated that all parties, including service, security, and health institutions, are working in unison to offer the best services to pilgrims, both inside and outside the old part of the city. This collaboration underscores the significance of the shrine of Amirul Mumineen (AS) to the pilgrims.

Haider Al-Eisawi, the deputy head of the service affairs department of the holy shrine, further explained that more than 2,000 volunteers are dedicated to serving the pilgrims and addressing their growing needs, as the greatest responsibility lies with the servants of Amir al-Mu’minin (peace be upon him).

Javad Al-Ismaili (Lawa), director of Al-Sajjad Health Clinic at the Holy Shrine, also confirmed that they are working closely with the Health Department of Najaf Ashraf to provide medical services to pilgrims. The clinic has deployed five medical teams near the Holy Shrine and two teams outside the yard to offer essential medical services in various courtyards, including those of Shaykh Tusi and Lady Fatimah Zahra (S.A).
