Protest in India to denounce Ayatollah Sheikh Al-Nimr’s execution by Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s execution of top Shia cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Nimr Baqr al-Nimr has drawn angry reactions from Muslim bodies in India.

unnamed-1451756592-_87452400_41b62ded-d9aa-4fdc-8923-f3c09d2eaaa1In Kashmir Minister of State and President of All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association Moulvi Imran Reza Ansari expressed his view that “I condemn  in strong words the state murder of Sheikh Ayatollah Baqir nimr al nimr by tyrant regime of Aale Saud family the exporter , supporter and financier  of terrorism in world.imran reHis only crime was peaceful protest against tyrant rule devoid of any respect for human rights. This murder is a deliberate attempt on the behest and orders of anti Muslim islamophibic Zionism  to create unrest and animosity among peaceful Muslims. I mourn the martyrdom of Ayatollah Nimr and offer condolence to whole Muslim world and his family.”

Senior clerics from Lucknow Dr Kalbe Sadiq have condemned Saudi Arabia’s execution of prominent Shia cleric Sheikh Nimr Baqr al-Nimr despite international calls on Riyadh to revoke the religious figure’s death verdict. He said on Saturday the execution is in line with a litany of crimes committed by the Al Saud regime from the onset of its creation. 

Senior member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board Maulna Kalbe Jawad said Shafaqna that the killing of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr may spark new unrest among Saudi Arabia’s Shiite minority.
