Severe Cold Wave Grips Rajasthan, Fatehpur Plunges to -1.3°C

Shafaqna India: Rajasthan continues to reel under a severe cold wave, with Fatehpur in Sikar district recording the state’s lowest temperature at -1.3°C, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Other regions also faced biting cold, with minimum temperatures of 1.9°C in Karauli, 2.4°C in Churu, 2.6°C in Bhilwara, 3.0°C in Sirohi, 3.2°C in Chittorgarh, 4.0°C in Pilani, 4.5°C in Jaipur, and 4.9°C in Sangaria.

The IMD reported that the state’s weather remained dry over the past 24 hours and warned that cold wave conditions are likely to persist in the coming days.
