Shia Cultural Center “Seddiqeh Tahereh” Complex Opens In Ghana

The biggest cultural center in Ghana for Shi’a Muslims “Seddiqeh Tahereh” complex’s first phase opening ceremony was held in Kumasi, Ghana.  

The program was also attended by the leader of Shi’a Muslims in Ghana and directors of Islamic centers as well as preachers from different cities of the African country.

Seyed Moradi, representative of the international affairs deputy of Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s office also attended the ceremony. While addressing to people he stressed on the virtues of building mosques in Islam. .

Based on the Islamic architecture “Seddiqeh Tahereh” Complex will be constructed having four floors and will include a mosque, library, cultural center and guest house.

Verses of Holy Quran featuring the status of Ahl-ul-Bayt (a.s) and the names of Ahl-ul-Bayt (a.s) have been inscribed on the walls of the first floor.

Mohammad Dar-ol-Hikmah, the director of the complex, is a graduate student of Al-Mustafa International University.

Islam is one of the major religions practiced widely in Ghana . Muslims in Ghana make up about 24 percent of the population.
