Srinagar Based Naat-Nouha Khwan Muneer Abbas Passes Away; Condolences, Tributes Pour In

Srinagar : Muneer Abbas, a young Srinagar based naat and nouha reciter,  passed away on Sunday evening after offering Maghrib prayers. 

Initial reports coming in say he was in his mid 20’s and died due to cardiac arrest. 

The news of his death spread like wild fire in his hometown with people from different districts of Kashmir thronging his home and attending his last rites. 

Muneer was known for his soothing voice and had been reciting  naat and nouha since an early age.

His untimely death has left his family and followers mourning with people with whom he had worked or had listened to his eulogies expressing sorrow and paying their tribute on social media.

Meanwhile President of Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, President Anjuman Share Shian Shariat Abaad Badgam Hujjat ul Islam Aga Syed Hadi Al Mosavi Al Safvi and J & K Ittihadul Muslimeen president, Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari has condoled the  demise of  Muneer Abbas Ganai.

Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari in his condolence message expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family for this irreparable loss and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and patience for his family.

Molvi Imran Reza Ansari also tweeted and prayed for the departed soul. In his tweet, Imran called Muneer Abbas a pious soul.

Former legislator Abid Hussain Ansari also expressed his shock over the untimely death of Muneer Abbas and prayed for the departed soul. In his tweet he also prayed for the strength of the bereaved family to overcome this tragedy.
