Srinagar: Vice President of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, who was on a three day visit to J&K, visited Khir Bhavani Temple Tulmulla (Ganderbal), shrine of Mir Baba Haider Tulmulla and paid obeisance.
He was accompanied by General Secretary AICC I/C J&K Ambika Soni and PCC Chief G. A. Mir, Senior Party Leaders, MLA, MLCs.
Rahul also visited Hazratbal Shrine and paid obeisance there. He spent some time there and prayed for progress of the State and people. Congress Vice President also interacted with the local people and exchanged greetings.
Congress Vice President also visited Bal Ashram at Ishber (Nishat) and had a brief interaction with children.
He was accorded a warm welcome by the Congress Party workers and leaders at Congress Headquarter Srinagar.
While on way to Airport Congress Vice President stopped at Maisuma and had a tea and Pakora at tea stall on roadside, he also spent sometime in the busy centre, AICC General Secretary Ambika Soni & PCC Chief accompanying Congress Vice President also joined him on tea.
On this occasion Congress Vice President interacted with locals and exchanged greetings.
