PM Modi to visit Punjab on July 17, says Union Minister Ravneet Bittu

Shafaqna India:  Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Punjab on July 17.

Interacting with the media in Jalandhar, Bittu also launched a sharp attack on the makers of the film Satluj and actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh.

Alleging that the makers of the film wanted to disrupt peace in Punjab, Bittu said Diljit Dosanjh would not be allowed to disturb the peace of the state.

Targeting the actor, Bittu claimed that on one hand Diljit asks Khalistani supporters to leave his shows, while on the other, he supports a “terror narrative”.

Referring to human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, Bittu claimed that Khalra was picked up by the police after the assassination of his grandfather, former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh.
